Diploma in Education (T.T.C.)

Ursuline Primary Teachers' Education College, Lohardaga is an affiliated Educational Institute by Jharkhand Academic Council. It is recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) Bhubeshwar. The intake is 100 students per Year. The examination is conducted by Jharkhand Academic Council, Ranchi.

Bachelor of Education (B. Ed.)

Bachelor of Education(B.Ed full form is Bachelor of Education) is an undergraduate degree course that qualifies students to work as teachers in schools. B.Ed course duration is 2 years with a total of 4 semesters. The acronym for Bachelor of Education is B Ed. The B.Ed degree is necessary for teaching at the secondary and higher secondary divisions.

Master of Education (M. Ed.)

M.Ed full form Master of Education is a 2 years professional course that prepares educators by nurturing their professional skills by widening their knowledge by providing hands-on knowledge about the various ways of educating the students. Minimum Percentage of 50% to 60% in the relevant graduation course ( Like B.Ed)

Computer Lab

Our college has a well furnished knowledge resource centre to fullfine the needs of the students, faculty and M. Ed. Students. There are competent staff to monitor and guide the students in the use of library facilities. It has two attached reading rooms which is capable to accommodate 250 students.

Psychology Lab

In the college there is effective psychology lab with many inventories (Vocational interest, group test of inventories, jalota), tester(TAT, teacher efficiency), scale(teacher value scale, rating scale) & apparatus(Bhatia battery, Mencony hand apparatus. 5 practical are conducted for the students learning.

The Ursuline Women's Teachers' Training College derives its name from St. Ursula the patroness of the Ursuline Sisters.

St. Ursula:

St. Ursula was a virgin and martyr who was highly venerated in the West as the patroness of educators and the youth. St. Ursula’s undivided Love for Christ even to the point of martyrdom had inspired St. Angela Deeply.

St. Angela:

Angela was born in Desenzano, in North Italy. She was a Tertiary of St. Francis of Assisi. She began to teach Catechism to children and families to revive the faith. She served people of all ranks, especially the most neglected.
